I am attempting to work with a child theme to see what all I can do. So far I have only done some minor CSS styling changes. I have chosen to use the National Basic theme. Its a free version of the theme and it comes with some nice features like custom header images and extra sidebars.
I like the basic layout and look of the theme but want to make some changes to the fonts, in particular the font colors and sizes. I’m sure I’ll find other things to work on as I learn more about WordPress themes.
